Culture Camp

We spent last week in Tulsa at China Camp. Everyone had a great time. I was teaching one of the two kindergarten classes. My class had 24 children. Tanner and Nia were helpers in my class. Nicci helped in the 5 year old class, Theron helped with the first graders, and Luke helped in the cooking class. Unfortunately, I was so busy I didn't get to take too many photos. We had recreation, Kung Fu, cooking, language, dance, and lots of crafts. Luke is already planning for next year!

This was the Lion dance performed in the opening ceremony.
Everyone gathering for a huge group photo. There were about 250 campers!

Nia showing her art work.

Tyler learning the horse stance.

Tyler in cooking class learning about some of the different kinds of noodles.

Luke helping prepare the noodles the children made.

We would so love a culture camp! We have lived in so many.

Delighted to meet you today. I hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. This looks like a refreshing place to slip off my shoes, be me, and drench myself in God's goodness.

Splashing,
Sara
