A Day At the Park

We joined a couple of fellow homeschooling families for a day at the park. The weather was nice and we had some shade trees to sit under. The water was a little cool for the kids at first, but they all had a fun time. We can't wait to go back, but we are bringing our buckets and scoops next time!
Ok, I can't get this picture to move into its proper order. We took a little break in our wading time and enjoyed lunch and some watermelon. Tyler really enjoyed the watermelon!

Looking for crawdads

Digging in the rocks

Tyler got ahold of someone's bucket and had lots of fun!

We had several of incidents of lost shoes. There was a small current so things kept getting away from the kids.

Another shoe saved!

The big boys hunting crawdads.

I'm not sure why Tyler looks sad in this picture. He was very excited to have this new little buddy.

Nicci towing the little ones around.

Almost the whole gang ~ two are missing.

What beautiful children you have! And looks like you had tons of fun at your picnic.

Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog! I would love to know more about your next adoption! I will dig into your blog a bit more to see what I can find.

Blessings to YOU!

Looks like you had a LOT of fun! & you've reminded me that I need to try to capture some watermelon-eatin' pictures of my girls before summer slips away, . . .
