Hired Hands

With the warmer weather Frank has had us all out working on the ranch. He got a new working pen, so we had to move the feeding pen and get it all set up. Tanner helped him get most of it set up and the rest of us came out to help with the final touches.
Tyler loves to drive the tractor. Frank's new toy. It may be put to use this weekend when we run all the cows through.

We spent a day planting about 125 trees. Then we had to come back and fence around them so the cows don't eat them. The planting day was cold and rainy. On the fencing day, we would be cold and then a few sprinkles and then hot.

Tyler spent a lot of time in the ranger.

We had a calf born when we were out there.

I loved reading about your ranch...what a great experience to share as a family! You tell a great story.

I don't know if you have checked out www.thepioneerwoman.com, but she also blogs about ranch life and homeschooling as well as cooking and just funny stuff. I think you might like it.
