A town nearby has a fish hatchery. We have wanted to tour it since moving here and we finally took the time to go. We were a little disappointed though. The visitor's center is moving to a new building, so it didn't have much left in it. They have a lot of ponds, but they were empty. The kids did get to feed some fish in the outdoor tanks. We may have enjoyed it more if we had signed up for the tour and could have been told more about what they do. Also, the new visitor's center is set to open next month and looks like it is very nice. We enjoyed spending the day with friends anyway!
