The children have been enjoying the warm weather and the break from school. We spent some time enjoying a nearby creek.
We have also made several trips to a local park. The boys have been working on their skateboarding skills. Luke had a spill one day and scraped up his elbow. Just when that was about healed he took another spill on a bike and scraped his knee.
Frank even joined us for one of our park outings.
When we were celebrating Mother's day, Luke started asking about kid's day. I thought he was teasing, but he said to ask Scott (our Chinese friend). So I asked and he was correct. It is International Children's Day and is celebrated in China on June 1. So, we went to Wal-*art and bought a slip N slide and snow cone syrup and had a small celebration.
